Hey there! I’m glad you’re here :)

I’m a multi-instrumentalist, educator, bandleader, and composer from Dallas, Texas, currently based in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. I earned a B.M. in Jazz Saxophone from the University of North Texas. After undergrad, I traveled the world performing in theatre and ballroom orchestras on Cunard cruises. I earned an M.M. in Jazz Arranging from William Paterson University, where I studied with Cecil Bridgewater and Ed Neumeister. I recorded saxophone and flute with the Yu Nishiyama big band on the album “Lotus in the Mud,” and for the Toshi Clinch big band album “Vesuvius.”

Since moving to NYC I released my first album of completely original music in 2022, called “Nonet” for a nine-piece jazz ensemble. I’ve been featured on CBS Saturday Sessions as a soloist with Grammy-winner Bret McKenzie and I was mentored by Broadway reed specialist Kristy Norter through the Maestra Mentorship program. I play woodwinds for singer-songwriter (and good friend!) Leche Malo, as well as for various jazz and theatre performances in the city, including an ongoing collaboration with Flying Leap theatre company. I teach private saxophone lessons and I’m also a Songwriting teaching artist with NYC Children’s Theater.
